Trisha Krishnan was born on the 4th of May 1983 in Pallakad, Kerala, India. She speaks English, Hindi, Tamil and French.Trisha first made her debut in films when she was offered a small cameo in the film Jodi.She wanted to debut in the film industry with the name Suhasini. Her Telugu film, Stalin with Chiranjeevi which released in 2006 created Indian record by collecting a share of RS. 130.8 million in 5 days. This got another entry for Stalin into the record books for the highest collected so far for any South Indian film in the first 5 days. Trisha also recently replaced Rani Mukherjee as the Brand Ambassador of Fanta India
She was roped in to play heroine in Vallavan opposite Simbhu, but opted out due to her character in the film being extremely glamorous. She was subsequently replaced with Nayanthara.Dropped out of Vikram's Majaa at the last moment due to date problems. She was later replaced by Asin.
She was roped to play the female lead in Don opposite Nagarjuna but Trisha opted out because she was unable to give immediate dates due to her prior commitments. The role finally went to Mamta Mohandas.Was approached to do the role of Simran in S.J. Suryah's New and S. Shankar's Anniyan.
